Let’s look at these features in more detail, assess how members benefit and how the ongoing management of the website can be made so easy.
The Membership Module allows you to grant access to a password protected section of your website in return for payment received via credit card, PayPal or offline method. This is great for associations as it allows them to consolidate members' payments and collect them through a central web based platform.
One vital measurement to the success of a website is the way that it keeps your company stakeholders abreast of relevant information. The Online Now association solution makes this easy! Perform unlimited site updates through the Content Management System (CMS). Collect member feedback and enquires directly into their customised account profiles.
Associations provide members with a place to interact with like minded professionals. One of the outcomes of this is usually the sharing of knowledge and information and with the Online Now solution this is made easy through the feedback feature. Receive unlimited feedback on any multi-item page: this feedback can be unmoderated and posted directly to the live site or moderated and approved through the CMS.
Email marketing is one of the most powerful and cost effective online communication tools available. The Online Now solution allows you to integrate this potential directly into your website delivering a 360 degree view of how users are interacting with your business and allowing you to communicate a targeted, timely and relevant message. The built in Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) allows you to search across any user data such as recent purchases and locations, and communicate a targeted, personalised email message.
Associations are known for their strong processes and procedures. The Online Now solution has a number of enterprise level features that allow you to control the publishing of content to the web including workflow and versioning. The versioning functionality allows you to roll back your site to a previous update, while the workflow feature ensures that your publications follow a structured process.

The Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) was founded in 1934 as a voluntary association of members practicing anaesthesia throughout Australia: it continues to this day to represent all of Australia’s anaesthetists. The ASA needed a website upgrade that would allow them to communicate more effectively with their growing membership base, receive online membership payments and a new design that would reflect the professional, progressive approach of the association.
It was important for the ASA that the new site would allow them to promote the educational aspects of the association while also giving viewers an insight into the history of the organisation. The site needed to communicate with patients of anesthesia as well as doctors and the association's membership base. The site had to be able to communicate upcoming events, industry announcements and professional issues such as changes to medical regulations.
The design needed to appeal to the association's professional audience while also being easy to navigate and update. It was vital that users were able to easily locate the information they were after despite the significant volume of content on the website. The use of random serving of promotions and content as well as highlighting notable content on the homepage allows the site administrators to promote different sections of and direct traffic to desired sections of their large website.
The site takes advantage of many of Online Now's powerful features. These include random serving, membership management, eCommerce, email marketing, forms & survey maker and user feedback to name a few. The comprehensive site search allows visitors to always find what they are looking for while the built in Email Campaign Manager lets the association easily communicate with their database through the Content Management System.
The ASA's new website allows them to embrace new website technologies to communicate with their stakeholders more effectively. The eCommerce membership management solution lets them manage and receive payments online while the intuitive design allows them to effectively communicate with doctors, patients, trainees and their membership base.
We were looking for a website that not only looked great but that was versatile, modern and easy to use. We wanted to be able to make changes to all aspects of the site including design (keeping within the template) and content. Having password protected sections allowing our members to make payments and renewals was critical for us as was an events section that allowed us to easily promote our events. We are very happy with the new site, Online Now has been responsive with any questions we have had and we would certainly recommend them to any association looking for a modern, effective, affordable and easy to use website"
