How much bandwidth should I expect to use on my website?

From

Bandwidth allocation is one aspect of a website development project that customers always pay a lot of attention to – and rightly so. No one likes nasty surprises and unfortunately some other providers use bandwidth as a way to generate income after the deployment of the site. This is NOT the case for us at Online Now.

The number of times a web page can be viewed within a data allowance not surprisingly depends on the web page and the number and size of images, files, videos and other resources on that page.

For example, the “about us ” page on the Online Now web site takes a total of 893,898 bytes (at the time of this writing), so the Commerce + package data plan of 10GB per month can serve this page more than 10,000 times a month.

A smaller page such as this page requires 107,604 bytes so the same Commerce + package data plan of 10GB per month can serve this page almost 100,000 times!

How many pages you will be able to serve using your specific Online Now website package will depend on what you put on your website and how popular your website is. Generally, most business websites, except for very big successful ones, do not exceed our generous data plans and additional bandwidth can be purchased at only $7.70 for 2GB per month!
