With the new customer relationship management module you are also able to formulate unique profile criteria that you wish to be requested from your members during the registration process. This completely flexible component of the software gives you the power to create an entirely exclusive set of criteria which can be manipulated to create email lists specific to your business’ requirements.
• Once logged in go to ‘Admin’
• Select ‘Manage accounts profile’ from CRM Settings
• Drop down ‘Add profile field’
• Select the type of profile field type you wish to create (see list of field type definitions below)
• In the ‘Field title’ field enter the customer enquiry you wish users to answer i.e. “How did you hear about us?”
• Check boxes of the rules you would like to apply against this enquiry. Include in emails means users will receive the question when subscribing to your database. User viewable means users will be able to see their answer in their account profile. User editable means users will be able to update their choice in their account profile. Mandatory means users will not be allowed to complete the registration process unless this question/field is filled out.
• Once all Profile field criterion has is set to your preferences select ‘Save’ and it will appear in the profile field list below
• For radio buttons, checkboxes or multi select go to ‘edit’ for the newly created profile field and under ‘field options’ enter options one under the other for users to choose from where applicable and then ‘Save’. i.e. Newspaper, Internet, Friend or family, Television etc.(Other profile field types may skip this step.)
• Repeat process to ask your users multiple profiling questions.
