• Select the page or sub-page you wish to add your article page under
• Select ‘Structure’ from the sub-navigation bar and Drop down ‘Add New Page’ from the list
• Select Article as the page type, enter page URL as it would appear in a URL (name/s separated by dashes), enter page title (uncheck active page to enter in content before pushing page to front end)
• Create you introductory content (normally approx. a paragraph describing the sections content) by selecting ‘Edit’ under introductory content; enter SEO keywords and description and title. Select ‘text’ and enter intro copy and ‘Save’
• Select ‘Preview’ to check page for copy and formatting errors, ‘Edit’ to go back and make changes, ‘Discard changes’ to delete last actions or ‘Publish’ to push to site
• To start adding articles go to Content tab of your parent Article page, enter a name for the article after ‘ADD Article’ and click ‘Add’
• Your new blank article will appear below your Introductory content
• Drop down your article from list and select ‘Edit’
• Set publication controls such as live dates, SEO keywords, description and tile text, check homepage highlight and/or featured item to have new content featured randomly onto your sites homepage or features content respectively
• Change publication date to have your page publication date featured on top of your article or simply leave on default date 1901/01/01 to have no date appear
• Select ‘image’ to upload main image for article or ‘files’ for downloadable file
• Select ‘text’ to add short text (introductory text to appear as an extract on parent page) and long text (full version of content to appear on new article) and ‘Save’
• Select ‘Preview’ to check page for copy and formatting errors, ‘Edit’ to go back and make changes, ‘Discard changes’ to delete last actions or ‘Publish’ to push to site (make sure you go back and check page active box if page was deactivated at beginning of process)
• Repeat from ‘ADD Article’ to publish more than one article under the same section
