The search engine optimization tool is one of the most important tools for many websites which defines the ranking in which your sites content will appear on search engines (i.e. Google, Bing etc). The more specific and descriptive your SEO terms in this section the higher the chance it will appear as a relevant site when users conduct a related search in their search engine.
• Once logged in select ‘content manager’
• Under the site tree located on the left hand side select the page you wish to optimize and then select the ‘SEO’ tab
• Under ‘Keywords’ enter the keywords you wish the search engine to scan for matches. Enter as many words as you wish, sticking to relevant keywords to the content the page contains. Tip: include possible misspelled versions of you keywords as these can account for user typos but still navigate users to your site from the search engine
• Under description enter the content preview which appears under the title (which should contain the relevant keywords) in the search listing
• Under ‘Title Text’ enter the title you wish the search engine to display in relation to the content and keywords (which should also ideally contain the relevant keywords)
